Request your license key

Your information

License information

The license number can be found within the software itself. Launch the M-Files Admin application, right-click your M-Files server in the left-side tree view and click License Management. In this window the license number can be found.
Launch the M-Files Admin console. In the left-side tree view, expand a connection to M-Files server. Right-click the vault you are aiming for and choose "properties". The opened window will display the vault name and its unique ID. The unique ID is the Vault GUID.
The license expiry date can be found within the software itself. Launch the M-Files Admin application, right-click your M-Files server in the left-side tree view and click License Management. In this window the license expiry date can be found.
In case of on-premises installation you can find the number of users in the license management screen (see serial number). In case of hosted by M-Files you can find the number of users in your M-Files manage console.

Activate your license key !

If you have purchased software from SoftAdvice, you will need a license key to unlock the software. Simply fill out the information form, and we will send your license key and the instructions via e-mail.
